Default NEW 220amp Alt. for 98-02 LS1 F-body

I built this 220amp CS144 alternator for my car (I own a starter and alternator shop), thinking I was eventually going to be putting a sub box and an amp in it at some point, but I don't think I'll ever do that to it so I'm gonna go ahead and sell the alternator. It is brand new, and should power just about any stereo system or electronics you have in your car. It is configured to bolt into the stock alternator bracket of a 1998-2002 LS1 f-body.

I'll take $150 FIRM- I have more than that in it (had to have the rotor and stator custom-wound for the higher amperage). I also highly recommend that if you buy this unit for your car to upgrade the main charge wire (that goes to the threaded post) to at least 4-gauge or even bigger if possible so that it'll charge more efficiently.

Can you email the pic to davidmcafee@gmail.com?

Photo sites like photobucket are blocked at work.

Like I said, I built the alternator myself using all new parts. I own a starter and alternator shop.

Does the higher amperage increase the parasitic loss?

Depends on how much of a load the battery's putting on it- that goes for ANY alternator.
