I have a used Precision Industries vigilante converter for sale. Its for a 4l60. 4000 stall. I have had it for 3 years with no problems. my guess would be around 15k miles on it since my car has sat for the last year while saving up for a fully built drivetrain. I am selling because I bought another car for it's drivetrain and it already has the same stall but turned down for a big hit of nitrous
. I am asking $600 (now adjusted to $550 since after Christmas and money is probably tight) shipped to anywhere in the lower 48 states. It cost $800 new before taxes and shipping. I will answer any questions as soon as I can. I have a full time job so I won't be able to reply from 6am-4pm Mon-Sat. Well maybe if it's a slow day
If you PM me I will get it on my cell and can respond during that time frame if work is slow.I am new to selling on Ls1tech and would like to build a good trader rating. The part is out of the vehicle and ready to be shipped. I ship items almost everyday for my job so I know the proper way for an item to be packed.

Pictures and some sort of proof of purchase would be a plus here. Hard to start your selling with an item of this high of a cost. Your price is probably fair, so i'm not knocking you there, but converters are always a risky buy. I say all of this because i'm interested in this exact converter, but am skeptical about no seller rating or any pictures. Plus there is no proof that nothing is wrong with it. I trust that you wouldn't sell junk for that much money. You don't happen to have some pictures or receipts of any kind would you? Do you sell on any other forums? What about ebay? Let me know. Sorry if I seemed rude. Bump for a good converter.

I will post some pics asap. I can't find the receipt but I bought it directly from Precision Industries. I will call Vickie at P.I. on Monday and I bet they still have me in the system and see if they can provide proof of purchase. How do I prove nothing is wrong with it? All I can do is give you my word it worked perfectly when removed. If you purchase it and have proof a reputable shop installed it and filled it with the proper amount of fluid and it doesn't work then notify me and I will take care of you. But I can't hold on to the money forever so I would have to say 30 days max on the so called warrantee. Iv'e never sold anything over the net before only bought a WS9 hood on e-bay. Gotta start somewhere.

The number stamped on the back of the converter is 30406G. On the side 15G. I'm having trouble figuring out how to transfer pics from photobucket to here. But as soon as I figure this out I will post the pics.

Update. I called Precision Industries this morning to get proof of purchase but I got a machine that said they will be out for the hollidays until Monday the 5th. I did call the place that installed it and they have me installed on 8/5/2004. So I have had the converter a little longer than I thought but The car has been down a year and so the converter has only 3 years on it and probaby in the neighborhood of 20-25k miles on it. I will not be lowering the price because I think it it still set fair. I have had alot of PM's but most have been low ballers and therefore the converter is still available. This is not a budget converter. If you buy this new it will cost over $800.00. It works perfectly. You will not be dissapointed!
