Not sure what the PM problem is?
You can Email me at koolrayz@aol.com
The reason for the sale is I am in the middle of switching to a turbo. The car wont see much street time anymore. And will be in the 1200RWHP range. With that kind of power a 2 speed powerglide will work much better on a turbo car. I went with the Rossler Terminator 5 power glide.

I really never asked. That’s a loaded question. A trans in a 3900# car like mine. Will not last as long as it will in a 3000# tin can with the same hp. By the way I four wheel scaled the car the day the picture I posted was taken and it was 3924#.
I was trapping 142 mph in a 3900# car. The calculators I have seen say that over 800 hp. I really don’t know because my dyno is 1320' long.
I would be suspect of anyone that would make a blanket statement on a transmissions HP rating. Carl seemed to think the trans would hold up with the new turbo setup. The reason I wanted the glide was the 1.8 first gear. The 3.07 first gear in this trans makes launching tricky over 6-700 horsepower.

I think this would work out well for you. I also have a converter thats made for high horsepower applications. I could make you a nice package deal

I sent you a PM on wednesday with my phone number?
The converter is a midwest. It stalled at 3800 on the trans brake and only had 4% slipage on the big end unlocked. Locked up it was around 1% slipage. This is a very efficient converter. Not a well known brand in the LS1 world. They make the converters for the Ohio Boys 7 second F-bodies. This converter was $900 four years ago. I sent it in last year to tighten it up. It has a new stator, new lockup clutches. Fred said it looked great inside I just wanted it redone while he had it. This converter is made (strong enough) to lockup in high gear (with the right tuning)
I need $500 for this converter.
