LS1 Long Block from 1999 Corvette FRC, 57K miles
*** SOLD!!! ***
LS1 Long Block from 1999 Corvette Fixed Roof Coupe, 57,000 miles
5.7L, 345HP
Asking $1800
This is a completely stock Corvette LS1 engine out of my 1999 Fixed Roof Coupe. No changes have been made to the engine from stock, and all ran quite well when removed from the car. There are a very few items not included-- mainly a couple of accessories off the front-- but aside from those you are basically getting the entire engine. And everything is still assembled, so if you wanted to do a simple drop-in, there'd be very little prep work to do so.
Includes:
- LS1 Intake
- LS1 Throttle Body
- Stock heads
- Coil pack assemblies & wires
- Stock Bottom end
- Stock balancer
- LS1 "Bat-wing" Oil Pan
- All Covers and seals
- Starter
- Stock flywheel & clutch
Does NOT include:
- Power Steering pulley
- Water pump and tensioner
- AC Compressor or bracket
- Alternator
Notes/Needs:
- one fuel injector O-ring is torn
Any questions? Feel free to email fhturner@earthlink.net or call (205) 913-4797. Engine is located in Birmingham, AL 35210. I will do my best to help, but buyer is responsible for arranging shipment.
Thanks!
Fred

free bump for ya.
Question: what are you putting in the FRC?
I only ask because i'm in Birmingham working for the summer. I'd like to B.S. cars with someone. I've been socailly starving as of late.

Thanks for the bump...and sorry you're "socially starving" (good phrase!). Feel free to shoot me an email or gimme a shout. I had an LS2 402 stroker that was in my previous track car that I wrecked. The FRC is its replacement, so out w/ the stock LS1, in w/ the LS2. The LS2 has a forged bottom end, LG G5X4 cam, AFR205 heads, Blackwing, 90mm TB & FAST90, and LG Pro Long Tubes. Fun ride...
