FS: Used Cam (224/230 .581/.591 114 LSA X-ER Comp)
Hey all,
I have a cam for sale out of my setup.
224/230 .581/.591 114LSA on X-ER lobes, Comp Cam. I ran this in my 5.3L N/A, and with my forthcoming forged motor build for my tubo car, I'm going to go with a more turbo friendly cam.
The cam has about 4500 miles on it (I only drive about 800 a year in this car, and it had 1500 miles on it when I purchased it a couple years back). The engine it was in DID spin a rod bearing, but there is no visible damage to the cam or the bearings (actually, there was no damage to the other rod bearings or anything else either for that matter, and the motor still had ~30 psi of idle oil pressure after the bearing went). That said, it's up to you if you want to have a machine shop check it out, I'm selling the cam AS-IS.
Again, there are no marks on it, journals all look perfect, etc., I just want to make sure I'm representing this part 100% correctly. I have a perfect trader rating for a reason.
Sold!
Thanks!

Numbers are with the 1.7s.
I have a clip, but it's with the turbo (and a 1050 RPM idle), so it's not really very indicative of the sound. It does pop through the exhaust on decel, but it's a turbo/6 speed with DFCO enabled and a rich tune, so I think any cam would in that case.

There's an exhaust leak on the driver's manifold there too; it was the first start with the turbo kit, not very well sorted yet.
