Default 2 sets of heads for sale. MMS Absolute speed.

First is a set for those looking to upgrade without spending much money. I have a set of MMS stage 2 heads for sale off my TransAM.
They are 806 casting heads and have been fully ported and polished. Flow numbers are decent for a set of heads that are just over 2 years old and flow 287@600 on a LOCAL bench.
MMS had a higher number at 295@600.
Included are 918 springs, retainers, aftermarket valves 2.02 intake and 1.60 exhaust(i think, need to measure.)
Heads are 600 dollars and you stock heads or 750 outright with no exchange.
If we are exchanging and you need the valve covers as well I will just trade you straight up in the process.
I will not trade with someone I dont know.
You must have a rep on this board and some positive feedback. If not then you must send me your heads first and the money before I ship. I see too many people on here geting riped to have it happened to me again.

Next is a bad *** set of Absolute Speed stage 2 6.0 heads.
I have had enough of these heads hanging around and dont see myself using them any time soon.
Details.
Hello everyone, for those that know the quality of Absolute Speed these heads might be for you.
They are a set of 6.0 L Stage 2 heads. I ordered 3 sets of heads and these were the only set I acturally recieved. Jay the owner is now out of business therefore the only heads you will find are used sets.
The heads I am selling are brand new, never used, and the only time I had them out of the box was to have them flowed on a local bench.
Here are the details.

"Finally have the 6.0l cnc program up and running, It is a different program than the ls6 even though the ports start there lifes identical from GM. The 6.0l port was designed with the best lows and mids found on a gen3 head today while peaking close to my ls6 head. The flow numbers are as followed on my superflow bench tested at 28 inches on a 3.9 bore
200-155-124
300-216-167
400-264-209
450-286-221
500-301-228
550-314-231
590-318-236
600-320-238

Comp Dual springs, Rev 2.055-1.60 valves.
perfect heads for 346 to 408 cubic inch engine

I bought these on a GP special for 400 dollars off normal price and still paid 1950.00 shipped.

I will sell these for a new price of 1320 shipped..
You pay 1320 and your 1320 get improved a bunch.
These are 64.5cc's and were made to be close to 10.6:1 on a stock motor with stock gasket.
You can run a .040 gasket and achieve 11:1 compression which is how I had them made.
This price is way less then I paid and these are brand new.

Would you be willing to sell the MMS heads w/ just the valves? If so I am interested. Also, what kind of valves are used? If you have any pics I would greatly appreciate it! Please send to chrisafs99@yahoo.com Thanks!

Are the chambers welded or are they cut to get the 64.5 cc's? Got a buddy that might be interested. Thanks.

they are cut so you will loose some piston to valve clearence.
I am not positive on the CC of the head. They were suposed to be cut .040 for added compression and Jay said they were going to be around a stock LS6 chamber size.
I haven't had them checked, but can see they were milled. As long as GM got them right then they should be very close to this number.

I could knock 75 bucks off for the springs and sell complete minus springs.
I have no pics of these but tomorrow when I load the pics of the other heads I can snap a few of these as well.
They are dirty, and will look like **** in compairision to the New absolute speed heads, but I am sure you already know to expect that.

Thanks man, let me know how the numbers turn out.
These IMO are not by any mean a top of the line head, but are a nice improvement over a LS6 head. Better parts better flow numbers, better compreesion will make more horsepower.
So if your on a budget why spend 750-900 on stock LS6 heads when you could have these for way less?
They are 5.7 LS1 heads.

BTW here is a auction off ebay for my last set of budget heads I sold. I feel my price is very fair based on what my last set went for. Only difference is these heads flow better, are done by MMS instead of a local shop, and are older.

Are the mms heads your original heads? How many miles are on them since the mms did them over? Are they milled any? What compression did they yield? Sorry for so many questions, just VERY interested!

Heads are milled for right around a 62.5 chamber size.
That means your compression will vary depending on gasket size. Here is how it brakes down.
10.88 with a .054 compressed gasket
11.12 with a .045 compressed gasket
11.27 with a .040 compressed gasket.
In my oponion this is almost perfect for most street guys looking to make some added power running NA. This will also work great for Nitrous cars.
Check out this link from the first time these were up for sale as there is some additional info in there. https://ls1tech.com/forums/lsx-parts-sale/360926-upgrade-you-heads-cheep-tr224-cam-ls6-intake.html
Hope that helps you decide.
I promise for the price I am selling these for your geting a nice set of heads.

These were pending sale last time to someone that didn't come through, but if you are 100% sure you will take them I will trust you. Send me a PM and we can talk. Tell me when you can make payment and we will go from there.
Until I hear from you still for sale and TTT.
