I'm not sure. I did not remove an exhaust valve to weight it.

I don't understand what's the big deal with the valves. I know some people are asking for sodium filled valves but what is the hp gain or loss between the two. I think valves do make a diffrence but not alot. The head castings are still 243's and flow the same. These same heads from sdpc go for over $750 each. I'm asking that for two. If someone wanted to change the valves to some aftermarket ones, they would still save an easy $550-650 bucks.

2004-05 LS2 and LS6 heads are the same. The reason why i say this is my personal 04 Z06 and my brothers C6 have the same heads. They are also sodium valves. Hope that helps.

No the 02/04 Z06 only got the lw valves.LS2 did not get those lw valves and u can tell by the orange dot on the intake valve....They do flow the same as a LW valved 243 casting...

Your price is very fair.....

How much to sell them now or do you have any others? PM or email me if you want.

I live in 92509 so you can figure shipping. I think I contacted you before through ebay, I'll have to check to make sure though.

The big deal is someone might think they are sodium filled when they arent. You do have a good price, though.
Its like selling some heads and saying they have Ti retainers when in fact they are stock. Some one might buy them because the have those light weight valves and then be pretty pissed when they find out they are stock.
Just so you know i'm selling the same heads but held off on saying anything about the valves untill i found out for sure.

lighter valves (sodium filled ones) = lighter valvetrain = you can spin higher, and it's gonna last longer

Yea, I'd say it makes a difference....

I never said that they are or are not sodium filled valves. Honestly I'm not sure. So I tell anyone that asks "I don't know". What I was saying is that everone is caught up with sodium filled exhaust vales. You can replace all the valves with lighter weight race valves then the sodium filled valves and still save over $500 from buying them from a dealer. How come when people port heads and replace the valves with after market valves they are not sodium filled? These heads could not be touched for under $1000 used a short time ago. The pics are a file photo and show a set of heads that I layed a ZO6 intake on and bolted on a set of headers for research and development. I will change the photo in my next auction to show that the heads up for sale have never been touched. You can also see that the file photo heads were never bolted down on a motor. I do have some more sets left @ $800 shipped in the US. SDPC sells these same head casting #12564243 heads for $755 each with light weight valves. So even if my heads might not have sodium filled exhaust valves which I'm still not sure of. Whoever buys a set is still getting a great deal.
