Alpine 9833 with custom Faceplate
I bought this Alpine head unit last fall for my Trans Am, but I dont use the car enough to warrant having it. I only drive the car once every 2-3 weeks, so I would rather sell this head unit than let it sit in the car. It was used for 2 months last fall, and then it sat all winter up until a few weeks ago.
The face plate was one that I ordered out of Canada, but I cant remember where. It is all CNC machined, black matte finish on the front, and fits perfect in the car. This by itself was close to $80 with shipping and all.
Here are the specs on the player along with some pictures.
-detachable, fold-down face
-variable button color
-lays MP3 and WMA files
-plays audio CDs, CD-Rs and CD-RWs
-MaxTune SQ tuner
-12 FM/6 AM presets
-Bass Engine Pro (5-band parametric EQ, 6-channel digital time correction, 6--position crossover with variable slope, plus subwoofer phase and level controls)
-MediaXpander (restores clarity and detail to compressed or broadcast audio)
-source tone memory
-iPersonalize setup options
-XM Satellite Radio Ready (Subscription, tuner, antenna required [and not -included] to receive the satellite radio signal.)
-CD changer controls for Alpine Ai-NET changers only
-optional auxiliary input
-4-volt front, rear and subwoofer preamp outputs
-V-Drive hybrid MOSFET60 internal amp — high-current draw requires direct fused connection to your battery (read more below)
-clock
-wireless remote
-26 watts RMS/60 peak x 4 channels (CEA-2006 approved)
-CD frequency response 5-20,000 Hz
-CD signal-to-noise ratio 105 dB
-FM sensitivity 9.3 dBf
-Peak Power Output 60W x 4 chan.
-RMS Power Output 26W x 4 chan.
-Preamp/RCA Outputs 3 Pair - Front, Rear, Sub
-Preamp Voltage 4 volts
-Satellite Radio Ready XM Satellite Radio Ready
-AUX Input
CD player new last fall was $450
CD player faceplate was $80
Total new was $530
Asking $340

By the way, the screen isnt scratched one bit. The flash made the screen look wierd in the first picture, but as you can tell the other pictures it looks fine. I think it was the way I wiped it off or something.

Yes its supposed to accept that I-pod interface.
The remote goes with the head unit at this time. Sorry.
