Arrow Low Mileage LS1 Long Block

SOLD This is the original engine out of my 2004 GTO with under 10K miles. A spark plug shed its porcelean in #5 cylinder. No metal entered the combustion chamber. The piston will need to be replaced, but the small impact marks on the quench area of the head can be smoothed in 15 minutes with a Dremel. No cylinder wall damage, no valve or seat damage. Head was leak tested on both intake and exhaust ports. Easy fix to put back into service.

Valve covers, windage tray, pan, oil pickup, rear cover, valley cover and sensors were transferred to my new 408.

Includes cam, heads, pushrods, lifters, rocker arms, oil pump, timing set, front cover, harmonic damper. With the exception of the rockers and 1 head, everything is in place and does not need to be touched. #5 rod journal on the crank is perfect. #5 piston has been removed, but not disassembled. I will include it along with the rod bearing, which is also perfect.

Price is $1200. Greatly prefer local pickup in Northeast Ohio. If you want it shipped, you'll have to make the arrangements with the trucking company. It can be crated and palletized for $75.

I'll try and take some pics tomorrow and send or post them up tomorrow evening. Any particular shots you would like to see?

My 408 cost about $250 from Houston to Cleveland. The trick is to not deal with the trucking companies directly, but through the independant outfits that book your freight for you. Quoted freight prices are BS if you're not on a discount schedule with that shipper. The differences are amazing. Google "freight agents"

For the cylinder shot, I stuffed a piece of paper at the bottom to reflect some light onto the bore. Otherwise it came out too dark to be useful.
