Default MS4 Cam ....

Unfortunately I'm now selling this to go to a smaller cam. Its still sitting pretty in the box. I bought it from someone here...very cool guy. It has 5000 miles on it and is in excellent condition. He went with a whole new set up so that's why he was selling it.

$300 shipped....please so I can get a smaller cam. BTW it's the 111 lsa

Thanks
Michelle

That cam performs really well, if tuned right, I have a customer with the ms4 was a pain to tune, but it was well worth it , I personally thought it was it was to big to begin with. I don't know your setup or if it is a dd, but I would run it. free bump for a good cam & price

man if I where you I would use it, not to big at all, you will be surprise in what a good tune would do.
I am a rookie tuner and I had the car running good, mad 430 and 383tq,, no surging daily driver.

Just curious as to why then I had so many people telling me it's too big.. ie too high peak power and I'd just be losing down low in the rpm's

this cam makes alot of its power past 4000rpms. So down low it will have power but not as much as say a 228/228 down low. This cam with small gears is not that great, with 4:11's it will be awesome. My buddies had G5x3 cams, similar to the MS4, they loved them. However down low in the rpms and floor it, the car will not pick up as fast till you start getting higher in the rpms, then look out! The car will really pull hard up top, you will lose some bottom end but start getting it back around midrange and then up top is where the cam really shines. It really depends on what you do with the car.

Thanks scrambler. At the time I didnt realize it would be losing down low alot and the trouble I may have with the stock gears. I'm sending you a reply to your PM now. Right now the car has trouble from a dead stop due to the lean fuel .

Sale Pending to scrambler.

Too far to drive to FL for a tune
