Default ROSS Racing Forged 3.905 -4cc pistons

SOLD

I have a set of 8 Ross Racing forged pistons that have been installed in a motor, dynod on motor only and have about 500 miles on them. Were taken out for a big dish piston for forced induction. New these pistons cost $892 shipped brand new. Here are the specs...

Ross pistons
part number 99838
3.905 bore
2618 T-61 aluminum
-4cc valve reliefs
1.326 compression height
Can be used with stock or aftermarket rods
http://www.rosspistons.com/auto_stoc...?cat=1&item=27

The motor was put together by OPEL engineering in Barrington and have been checked and are in working order. Here are some pics of the pistons when they were still installed with the rods. This is just for the pistons and includes the pins and spirolocks. It is a full floating pin. The pistons have their normal wear and would be a great piston for a nitrous or even forced induction application. Also great for running a big cam in a stock shortblock. Basically the price of flycutting and you get forged pistons.

Selling for a great price of $450 shipped and including paypal fees. Need to get rid of them for my turbo build. Make offers as well and i am interested in all trades, especially for some 317 heads and or turbo stuff. Thanks, Tim

Well you could use a calculator for an exact answer but 6 liter heads shaved .040 would be 72cc - .040/.005 = 8 so 72cc-8cc + 4cc pistons = 68cc. so you are looking at about 10.1 compression i believe with stock gaskets and probably a little more with .040's. These pistons are great because they allow a huge cam to be run. Tim

these will work with any ls1/ls6 block that can be bored to 3.905 from 3.898 which these are pretty much the standard size overbore for any rebuild or machining.
