I came super close to buying one of these about 2 months ago but already had my 9 to 1 engine built and was told by someone that sells & installs these that there more or less set up for stock CR engines so i got a APS kit instead. LOL!! Good luck. These are the badest super chargers ever!!! LOL!!and once installed ,they look the part too!

APS is no joke!! They cost a lot more for the Vettes though. I am stepping up. I haven't figured out to what yet. I feel the need for something that will produce a reliable 750+rwhp on pump gas and a little meth injection. I'll probably end up with a large centrifugal charger to compliment the 408 or 402 that I'm about to build.

Well is it the snout, or the j-tube? Sounds more like a 90mm J-tube. Snout is what the pulley rides on, isn't it?

I have never heard it called a j-tube. The snout on these holds the throttle body and also holds the front end of the jack shaft that the pulley is mounted to. The middle pic should make it clear. I am wondering if you're calling the j-tube what I and Magnuson calls the air bridge that goes between the air filter and the snout of the blower. Hopefully I answered your question.

I know for an absolute fact and have talked with 21st century muscle cars and they confirm that this will fit an ls2 corvette with the purchase of a 20.00 power steering reservoir bracket. I would expect no difference with the GTO's. The Corvettes need hoods for these to fit. I am not sure about GTO's.

Thanks for mentioning that. I thought they would but didn't want to say if I wasn't positive.
