It sounds like on their website they DO support the first and second generation iPhone and will support the third generation iPhone with an adapter cable available sometime this September.
I have contacted their customer support with the model number and date of purchase to verify its compatibility. I will let you know.

So will the iPod interface work with the Monsoon system? How long was it used?
Also how was the sound quality and did you like it? Cord long enough?
Sorry for the barrage of questions.

Is it plugs directly into the back of the head unit, the same plug the cd changer would plug into if you had it. It was used for two years.
The sound quality was as good as the monsoon can produce. There was no degradation in quality.
The cord was plenty long for me. The cord from radio to iPod unit is 46" and the cord from the iPod unit to iPod is 46" as well. So theoretically the iPod could be up to 92" (7'8") from the radio. I placed the ipod unit under the driver seat then had the 46" cord come up by the console.
