Default Cammed LT1

What kind of power can I get out of an LT1 with true duals and a cold air intake if i cam it with say a cc306 cam? These would be the only mods.

Did you not read your original post and all the feedback myself and others gave you??? No point putting a cam in w/o headers...lol You gotta crawl before you walk bro! Put the headers on first...then think CAM.

you need some headers bro, get them first. That cam is too big for the stock manifolds.

There is no reason to put a cam in w/o headers it is stupid and a waste of time. listen to what these guys are telling you. Most of these guys know their stuff

Headers before cam or you might make 5rwhp more with a cam.

I think you all arent getting the question he is asking, he wanted to know what kind of power with true dual and cc306 cam. Usally anyone that runs a true dual system has long tubes at least around here most muffler shops wont install TD's on a none long tube setup.

To the orginal post, I would say about 350+ rwhp threw a 6 speed. (and hopefully with a tune suporting mods, ect. ect.)

No, we get what he is asking. He does not have headers. He has another thread on here asking pretty much the same thing and we tried to tell him it makes no sense putting a cam in w/o bolt ons to actually make the car run at it's best. https://ls1tech.com/forums/lt1-lt4-modifications/1000982-cam-my-lt1.html

if you do all the supporting mods first, (headers, true duals in your case, CAI and tune) you should see somewhere in the 360rwhp range

Look at my sig, there is no way I would have put that cam in my car until my bolt-ons were complete. A full bolt on set-up with that cam should make between 350-360 rwhp. With only CAI and exhaust and that cam, you might make 320 if your lucky. And, with the CC306, you need a new valvetrain set-up. And at that point, you will have tons of money dumped into the valvetrain, and still not making crap worth of power.

not only will you need headers, but you will need your heads ported and polished, new springs, etc! then it wouldnt be a bad idea to also have bigger injectors....your car will run like crap, if even run without the supporting mods!!

Mine is on stock heads and injectors and runs like a champ. Granted there is a lot left on the table with a nice set of heads and injectors, but it moves decently for what it is. It doesnt start making good power til above 3 grand tho. You can feel it lacking power down low.

yeah you can shove a cam into a stck motor but like he said its not going to make the power when its supposed to! even if it does make more power! you need to do the regular upgrades to your heads and no you dont need p&p but it def helps out alot!

Question ? have u had ur car dynoed yet ? the reason im asking is cause i have pretty much the same setup and im running blue top svo24# injectors..so im thinking while im breaking in my motor the injectors will be maxed out and might screw something up !
