I wanted to see who is running LT1/LT4 with 1.6 Roller Rockers and if there was any HP gain and 1/4 mile benefit from them?
Well going with 1.6's over your 1.5's there will be a gain, you'll gain more lift and your freeing up your valvetrain friction. So there will be some gain. If you don't plan putting a cam in, in the near future I would probably consider scorpion 1.7's instead.
either way they're a good mod.

It will help some now, not a whole lot, i'd GUESS 3-4 hp. Most guys upgrade to 1.6's once they swap cams, don't think i've seen very many guys with 1.5's and aftermarket cam. So, if you found a good deal on some, pick em up as you can use them later anyway. My 2 cents.

This is the cam that is in the mail, I wanted to try to figure what the HP gain would be with 1.6's on this cam then
Comp Cams XFI LT1 Camshaft, 242 / 248, .584 / .579 113 LSA

Haven't ran yet the car is still under the knife. There are so many variables that come into play at the track as far as times go. The rockers are something you would notice more up top at higher rpm's if you did notice anything. By the time you got done with the 1/4 I would doubt they would make any difference with times. But I'm really not experienced with this situation so I can't be certain. If you are looking for a good runs I would suggest some Mickey T drag radials

if you plan to stay with the stock cam use NSA1.7s if you plan a cam upgrade use NSA1.6s...it is best to plan ahead but not too far where it actually hurts the present!
also i did notice a small gain up top,the car did feel more powerful on roll-races........
reduced friction and added valve lift work nicely together! our cars should have come with real valvesprings,1.6rockers,true duals and coolant level sensors that dont freak out from the factory!

do yourself a huge favor purchase screw-in studs (7/16) flat guide plates and a set of hardened pushrods....and NEW VALVESPRINGS! DONT BOTHER WITH SA ROCKERS!

If you're going to upgrade to 1.6 rockers, do it in such a way as to make them
usable if you ever decided to install a cam upgrade.
Quality non-self-aligning rockers, guideplates and quality springs that can handle the lift and lobes.
Hardened pushrods would be nice, but are certainly not a requirement with a stock cam.
Gains from increased lift are not as significant as some may tend to believe.
Gains from reduced valvetrain friction and mass are big factors.
Don't expect 1.7 to have a huge advantage over 1.6.

Also what HP are you expecting to put down with the 383?
