Ok So I am trying to pick up a loudmouth 1 for cheap and they say I need a adapter kit.

Now I have heard of people fabing up something to replace to this part and for cheap. anyone know how too?

I know the pipe wouldn't be hard for a shop but how much? also I heard you have to order the 96-97 install after that also? Can you just fab this stuff? Do you need the specifc ls1 hangers?

if ur talkin about the s bend...u need somethin there on the 93-95 lt1 since they only have a cat on the right side and need the exhuast to center up for the cat back....

yes I understand that. Any muffler shop can fab that up. I was wondering if you need the other install kit though also with the hangers and washers etc.? I heard you need the specifc ls1 hangers.


what I am asking is if I make the s bend do I need to buy this?

no....i think it comes with a new rubber busing but uses stock hangers....its been a while since i took mine off

am getting mine used so idk about the brushing. I hope it uses stock hangers. I could always fab up some I guess.?

yes you need the hangers... it will not hook up without them. can you fab something up?? maybe... just go to the junkyard and find an ls1 body and take those.

When I installed my LS1 Magnaflow I only needed the hanger on the left and the rubber piece. I got them from my local dealer for less than $20. I'm not sure what that other piece is though, looks like the bracket where it goes over the axle. I just reused the stock piece there.

U need the LS1 hangers on the driver side to make it work. I put an LS1 borla exhaust on my 95 a couple months ago.
