Best shorty headers?

I'm stuffing a LT1 in a third gen RX7 now. It's on a budget which means I'm not building long tubes for it! Which company produces the best quality shorty header? I would atleast like to stuff some shortys in there, I really do not want to run the stock manifolds. I would love to make some longtubes for it but it's not in my buddies price range. I had a set of edelbrock shortys and they were garbage. Shity colleector, thing flange, etc. So are there any quality ones out there?

Could you make midlengths fit? Most people will say that the factory manifolds will offer the same performance, but I haven't seen any back-to-back dyno runs to prove that. So, who knows

I have a rare set of Borla 304 stainless steel midlengths available:

They come with a stainless steel y-pipe and magnaflow high flow cat. They've had the AIR & EGR hookups deleted as well.
