On my 418 anything over about ~300hp of nitrous will probably lift the heads (12mm studs still, on 5.3 casting heads)
No offence, but i really dont think you have any idea what you are getting into. A nitrous setup that could effectivitly (and safely) spray that much would cost a LOT. You are better off to just do a turbo setup if this is a street car.

As stated before it would be best to talk to your engine builder and go over your plans for the car. If you are building it yourself call the piston manufacturers your self and they can help you.
I have a set of custom Ross pistons in mine. They were spec'ed for "at least" 300
. My short block was built by a highly reputable local builder so I don't have details on the pistons.When you get ready for the kit give me a shout...we have many options for you that will support your needs.

Didn't we just tell another person yesterday that a 200 shot would be pushing it on a stock shortblock? This guy was talking about going with a eagle rotating assembly, I think I had seen bad things about Eagle's cranks on here?
