haha i know, is it alot of work to put it in though?? also i weighed my car tonight, 3200 without me in it, things out of it, egr,air pump, rear seats, spare tire & jack, half the ac, and prostars, with a full tank of gas, any suggestions to lighten it up without going insane haha

You can modify the stock shifter to work. It isn't that involved, it will save you money, and kind of keep the sleeper look.

The car was a 6spd to start with so i dont have a A4 shifter. What is exactly involved with making it work with a RMVB trans?i may just get a cheapy stocker for now if its easy to mod

I have to go back over this thread and see what you have but you should be well under that, again mine was less then 2850 with me in it and I am over 200# myself, so you should easily be sub 2800 without you...

We will see in about 2 weeks or so. My trans should be here by next week then its jsut a matter of putting it back together. If its like 2900 with me in it i will be happy but sub 2850 would be sweeeeeet!!!

On the trans cooler search, "dope style" of mounting and you'll see a ton of pictures.

That's a baby bucket of wires. I'll get the picture I took of everything I removed from the body harness up tomorrow.

I know i know its not that much. Its just from the body harness in teh engine bay.

Well it looks like im going to have to get a new radiator. Mine has a GIANT hole in it. Tried to fill her up with some coolant and it was like Niagra fall coming out of that damn thing. Anyone have one for sale??

Nice build. I dont think that I could do this to the Wifes Camaro, but my 96 Cobra is begging for me to break out the sawzall and a cut off wheel

Sell it and use the tranny cooler in the radiator, water cools better than air anyway. Plus its lighter.

If your sold on using it mount it on the floor underneath the car near the tranny for drag use,.

Well its final the Th350 and 4k stall are on there way. Hopefully ill be the next 11sec bolt only LT1!!

best of luck to ya, BTW, I have a similar external Trans cooler that I have installed in front of my rad, it loops through the factory cooler then out into the external, tranny's hate heat so I thought it was the best way to go...

thanks man. I was just going to run the external but some how i ended up with a giant hole in my rad so im going to get one from a member here thats for a auto car. Im just going to run 2 coolers and hopefully keep that sucker super cool.

Im trying to decide if i want to ditch the wipers or not. What do you guys think? The car really wont be driven in the rain or on the street much for that matter other then the 1 mile trip to work.
