Default Which clutch disk is the best for my DD? CF, Mcloed,Ram ?

Hey guys,
I was just wondering what clutch disk you guys think is the best for my car
from what i've searched i've concluded that i need to buy a direct oem replacement (valeo) pressure plate right?

but now I've narrowed the disk down to 3 options

1- centerforce disk
http://store.summitracing.com/partde...5&autoview=sku

2- Mcloed disk
http://store.summitracing.com/partde...5&autoview=sku

3- ram disk
don't know where to find this one

I'm also confused as to weather to go with kevlar, ceramic or organic on the disk

I really need help guys I've been chasing this for a week now not knowing what to do, this clutch will only see about 350hp and similar torque ratings.

I have the Dual Friction from centerforce, i think you should just use the plate, you would be happy with it.

organic is great, it handles heat well. i would get a mcleod, but i could be biased from results of my clutch i have run from them for 8 years now.

I have so far have had good luck with my RAM powergrip. I think its a good clutch for bolt-on car. When I go for more power I am getting a Mcleod street twin for sure.

Not a fan of dual friction clutches since one side of mine was worn out while the other side barley had any wear. Also the organic side can not handle any heat at all. So far Im happy with how my ram powergrip hd grabs/holds but I need more miles on it to give a real review. So far it drives just like a stock clutch with 0 chatter and it grabs like hard as hell.

Is it true that most aftermarket clutch manufacturers use the stock pressure plate? so the only difference would be to get an aftermarket disc like pro built7 is doing?

Many do. The most cost effective, yet effective thing to do is to use the stock pressure plate with an upgraded clutch disk.

I think you won't go wrong either way.

Good question, I'd like to know as well. The whole kit just means the addition of the stock clutch disk, which is cheap, you could just sell it.

^^^ thanks. Its tough to believe that some clutch companies charge what they do for a stock pressure plate with one of their discs, when you get get their discs for only about $150. Am i missing something here with using a stock pressure plate with an aftermarket disc? cause it seems way to cheap to be for real...
