when you have it tuned, you could have them do, I believe its called, a speed density tune. From what I was told this tune will delte the need for a MAF, thus dropping it out and losing what 1lb? Then you can run that ram air system direct to the TB. Someone correct me if I am wrong

No INTERNAL mods ie: boring, stroking, camshaft changes, piston changes, head porting, valve jobs.
Basically you are allowed headers, cat-back, CAI, TB, rocker arms, valve springs, free mods, tunes, electric water pump, etc...anything on the external part of the motor.
On LS1 cars it's acceptable to swap out the intake manifold for an LS6 manifold since it came stock on a lot of LS1's, but on LT1's it's not acceptable to swap intakes, or to alter it in any way. Then you can view the SI (Stock internal) list for LS1's which is even stricter than the bolt-on list because it doesn't even allow you to remove a valve cover.

You can unplug your MAF sensor and your car will still run. You can take it right off if you want to. On a full bolt-on car, the stock MAF sensor is not enough of a restriction for the car to lose power.
'93's ran on speed density. I'm not sure if they are/were any faster than the MAF equipped f-bods. I'm thinking they are the same.
