Well I think I'm a rare case being I have ran both companies products. My first set up (LE) which was several years ago was a great running set up. I ran his stage 2 heads with a LE2 cam. Put down just over 415 @ the rear. Plus sides with Lloyd, great customer service, fast shipping and price wise he's on the less expensive side. I sold the set up to a friend of mine who was strapped on cash and was looking for a strong DD and I had just landed a great job shortly after AI started blowing up so $$$ wasn't a issue.
Now onto my current (AI) set up..205cc heads w/ custom grind camshaft (which the specs are basically the same as my old Lloyd cam) put down 443rwh but at a more costly price but was all worth it too me in the end. Negative sides with dealing with AI were, trying to get a hold of someone to help me out and turn around time.
Between the two,,,I would say if you were a serious drag racer that wants to beat out the best of the best at some point, go with AI. If you are on a budget and are more of a weekend warrior that only see's the track once and a while, go with Lloyd's product. Anyone that would bash either Company is a dip ****.

My LE2s with a GM847 went 12.78 @ 115.7 with a 2.1 60
( 17" Z06 with DRs and a really bad night at the track. )
Went Side by side with a 04 Cobra and 04 Z06 from 20mph - 135mph, then the Z06 pulled away like me and the Cobra broke down.
Made 378hp and 390tq with a spool'd 9"

This is what makes the topic pointless:
AI, LE, eBay Package, Local Shop, Home Ported..... In the end the results are going to be based around the car, track conditions, mods and driver. The only way for you to compare the two would be to find someone who ran them back to back on the same day, and yea that means head swap with in a couple hours before the weather conditions change too much
So while I agree with Fergy on the only thing that really matters is real world performance (the dyno is real world yes, but not driving performance), it's just the only real way to compare the two and see how close they are would be to find two like-modified cars that ran on the same brand dyno. Even then you have variables to skew the results :\ Or a bench flow test from the same company using the same methods and equipment.
It's just that it's like asking someone which is the better track athlete between twins who were trained by two different coaches and then ran the 500 meter in different states and different times of the year, or even same season wouldn't really matter. Different coaches[porting guys] have different methods[tricks] to get the most out of the athlete[heads] Silly analogy, but you get the picture, yea?
