I normally hate Mustangs (and Ford for that matter), but I have to respect the Cobra.
Those cars are able to handle 750hp on their stock blocks. Talk about forged internals. I don't like comparing a much more expensive car to LT1's but I still must commend it for being a very well built car. Ford engineers made an awesome car with that machine.
I would take an LT1 any day when you do the money comparison of dollar to dollar. (Keep in mind I am making the conversion to a college student this fall and money isn't very plentiful right now; I am saving and investing)
After college, I would love to buy an 04 Cobra to work with and a nice new DD G8 GT/GXP
(keep in mind I am keeping my 97 T/A WS6 and building it too.. too much family sentimental value in that car - my grandpa in AZ is very sick and raced a 97 Vette with it and said if I ever sell it he will turn over in his grave)
I can't really call out ATL for disrespect when it is both sides who are giving mad disrespect. Respect the cars for what they are. Do a dollar to dollar race if you wish, but both cars are amazing and soon will be a few of the last treasures from the modern musclecar era

around here we call that a "Tampa Stock Cobra"
considering every terminator has pulley and exhaust it's stock imo, I think I've seen one with a stock pulley and everyone almost **** their pants when they realized it was actually a STOCK cobra. it was really weird
oh well I got stock block, stock heads, stock intake...they just have some weight reduction

Smacked_in_ATL,
I know a stock Vette that wants to race you...and when I say stock I mean headers, cat back, CAI, intake manifold, TB, and nitrous.
What...stock heads, cam, block, so it's stock right???

LMAO..
I'm here huckleberry..can't see how much I'll get my *** busted by though..but you'll be alright, I'll still be here for you.
My last run in the 1/4 was a 11.19 @ 120..1.56 60ft, and that was running rich aswell as burning Oil cause of bad Valve Seals.
So yea I have some room to improve.
And yes that is on 93 Octane, N/A..no power adders. It was an Auto at the time but I don't see the M6 setup letting me down.
Hell I'll even leave the current 3.50 Gears in instead of my 3.89's..that'll give you 12 sec guys some hope.
Yes sir, torque is definately with me..don't know about the stock T56 though..but it's hanging in there..lol
Oh yea I got the weight factor to my advantage aswell..that is why no fat chicks ride.

I think it would be funny if you put in 4.56's temporarily, run him, and then say your gears are "stock"
