Default LT1 1995 trans am sptting and sputtering

found the problem....so this morning i was driving to work and when i started my drive i notice my engine not sounding as aggressive as normal. i went to take off and it's spitting and sputtering like it's missing or not running on all cylinders. i have msd ignition, msd coil, msd wires, triple plat. plugs ac delco about 20k on them. custom kn intake, borla exhaust (very loud), no cat, no egr, fastchip prog., 160 degree themo., mass flow with no screen...i think that's all but i have had this setup for years no problem. drove fine when i parked but i think it made this sound for a second about a week ago. it revs up okay sounds almost normal but under load it hesitates, still moves just not as fast or smooth. any clues before i go searching for the problem??

Does it run normal at WOT? Mine did this when I first bought it and it turned out that I had a dead O2 sensor.

Most likely either plugs, wires, or O2's. Unplug the O2's and see if it goes away.

All the info about your car in the first post should be included in your sig, makes things simplier.

There are many things that could be wrong. Plugs and wires being the usual culprit as mentioned.

Any codes?

Do you have access to a datalogging scanner?

Any SES Codes? Sounds like an o2 sensor to me. Your computer should be throwing a code for that.

found the problem. i took it to our mech shop to have them check it out while i was at work. they couldn't link their computers up to mine. i think because of the FASTCHIP prog. so i had to fix it myself after work. i replace the o2 sensor for 45 bucks. sounds a bit better probuly needed it but still sputtering. pulled a spark plug and seen it was a bit worn. ac delco plat. came out and bought some ngk plat. since i heard some good things about them and they were only 3 bucks a piece vs 6 bucks for delcos. started it up and runs great. they were only in there for 25k miles but i guess my heavy foot and the msd took it's toll. i also took the wires off and clean and inspected and reinstall. man that passenger side was fun!!!

sorry what's a sig? new to online forums. the most messed up thing is i dropped the last one and it bent the prong? at least that's what i think happened. when i picked it up first i was like damn wtf did i do to this spark plug? i doubt that a spark plug could be smashed like that and the engine still be fine...right? must of bent it when i dropped it.

If you look in the upper left you'll see "User CP". Click on it and then look to the left. Under Settings & Options you'll see "Edit Signiture". It's what displays under all of your posts.
