Once again, I try to ask for any shred of evidence and all you can do is scream and throw a tantrum with your Romper Room retort. You can keep pounding your chest of your PM'ing nobility, but it doesn't change the fact that you cannot answer to your ET claim.

Well I am interested in seeing how it turned out for you. Would like to see an updated pic or two and I could care less how dirty the car is. I'm doing this very thing myself and have made it all the way to the core support. Now I'm just trying to decide on weather I want a lid or to just run piping down in front of the condenser and use a cone filter.

i swapped my MOROSO CAI at the track for the SLP lid and i picked up 1.8 mph and 2 tenths thats good enough for me! dollar for dollar it was a much better mod for the money. Moroso used was 150.00 w/new filter my lid, boot, aluminum shroud and new fram filter cost me 65.00

just because u have a slip that dont mean it was with certain mods to the car any way
I could go run a 13.2 at 105 then go down the track 30 min later run a 13.0 at 106 not doing anything to the car and just say I changed the intake and post the two slips so in reality slips are worth less
dont say nothing about the numbers cause I made um up

so why do you require everybody to post slips to prove a gain?

For a reference. You know, for information sake? Usually time slips give date and temp as well as some detailed information from owner of car and claim therefore those interested can make a uniformed decision based on supplied data. It's really simple and used to be done on a voluntary basis once upon a time. Not so much anymore. Nowadays it's all about generating a ridiculous claim and then making a big "boohoo" spectacle if questioned...

You really need to learn how to pay attention...
You claim a .25 gain with what you've done yet either are too stupid to realize, or don't want to think about the variables involved in making such a claim. Once again, as stated, weather, track conditions, the tool behind the steering wheel can all be factors in your claim.
Read again. It's all right here. Anyone who has experience drag racing knows that ET's which you have victoriously claimed as an improvement can easily be affected by weather changes, driver error and track conditions all in the same day. That is fact. That is something you cannot contest, therefore you have no basis for your claim unless you have concrete proof of what you say is fact. You can't.

I really don't have to prove crap, the car already has! I have had it for over 5 years done every mod myself this mod was the least expensive with the most gain...
I mean really come on now you sound like the guy the other day that said," i would do the conversion if someone dynod before and after".
Like i said, it worked on my car just as it has on many others that have actually done it!

Then again those of us that put the time into it know how it is.
FWIW..I'm not pickin on you guys that can't get in there and do the work because you don't have the time/resources/etc to learn or to do it even when you know how..I'm basically sayin that if you want to call out someone on thier work it's wise to have something to show for yourself on your behalf instead of lots of words and excuses of why the other guy is wrong.
