Default the sensor on the oil pan is leaking

So, fresh motor and I see oil droppings. Good thing its nothing major, its just the screw in sensor in the driver side of the oil pan. I'm sure its not leaking were it seals but almost like its leaking from the plug. How do I go about fixing this leak?

just replace it. its only like 27 bucks at the dealer. oil level sensor, pull it out, clean it and replace. easy fix

lol, i dont know anyone with an lt1 that it hasnt happened to. i thought it was a rear main seal or a bad drain plug and replaced both and noticed it was still leaking. cheapest fix from the dealer, cant beat it for under 30 bucks

Well put a new one on for 25 bucks and now it doesn't leak but my low oil light come on! Can you believe that! Maybe if I clean the connector up a lil more it'll make good connection and go off.

I would return it as defective and get another one...that isn't something you want messing up...

I never wired mine back in..I always check the Oil every time I start the Car. I made mine into a plug and never had a problem with it.

Under $30 from the dealership? Are you kidding me? Wow, when I called about 4 months ago they tried telling me $68 for this part. Unless they had parts mixxed up,, which is not out of question
