Exclamation Even with a Serial Port, LT1Edit will not connect!

I thought it was my USB to Serial converter, I have now tried 2 different laptops, and now one with a serial port and vista and it REFUSES to connect.

I have bought a tune I just need to load it and this is pissing me off.

I have the LT1Edit program, I have a connector with an AKM adaptor and a serial connector and nothing, it just says no connection.

I have checked and changed to comm settings even in the BIOS and nothing happens.

I really need some help here guys I am going nuts, is it somehow my cable?

Is there a way to use my autoxray to connect to it? I am really annoyed at this point.

I tried that 1-4 mirroring it in the device manager... nothing. Just sits at 0% for the USB to serial and claims no connection on the straight serial port.

I do not get it, it refused to back up the curent tune or read but when I choose to program the new tune from Ion it uploaded and connected via the serial port no problem.

New tune is loaded and seems to be great.

I just do not get it.

Still not sure its right on but with Ion's help it will be.

you can always use Winflash to flash a program. It's free for 30days. there's also a Bin Converter to convert files to bin from LT1 or LT1 to bin
