Default 94 lt1 PCMforless tune and 4l60e problem please help!!!

ok, i have a 94 formula with pretty much all the bolt ons. it has a pcm for less tune and runs excellent. recently i blew the stock 4l60e tranny and had it rebuilt the tranny now shifts perfectly hard in all 4 gears at normal driving rpm, but at WOT it will not shift into 3rd gear, it will bounce off the rev limiter and slowly go into 3rd if i let off the gas. i took it to my tranny builder for warranty work and they ran the tranny through all the diagnostics and deamed the tranny in perfect working order. they then told me it was either my throttle position sensor or my current tune.

any advice?
thanks guys

Sounds like stall wall...did you install a higher stall when you got your trans rebuilt? You should have.

Mine was doing the same thing, oddly enough I cleaned the Mass Air sensor and the problem went away.

Stock rebuild on the trans, but did they reinstall the same stock converter? You don't need a converter, but a higher stall and a trans cooler will really wake up the car.

You have to drop the trans, tha's why I said you should have put in a new stall when you had your trans rebuilt. Read up hear and you'll learn a lot about automatic trans and stalls.

https://ls1tech.com/forums/automatic...kies-here.html

It even includes a thread with tips for removing your trans and installing a new converter.
