killed my first ls1 ws6 with my 93 TA I finally got next to a white ls1 ws6 6 speed (I assume it was stock except for borla catback that i could see). I killed him on the launch and pulled him hard while spinning all the way through 1st, with three people in my car, on some pretty worn out sumitomo htrz 275's, and just kept pullin through 2nd and 3rd, and held him off easy in 4th to about 120. He had 3.42's and an m28 t56, and I have 3.23's with my m29 t56. He never got closer than about a car away from my bumper after i pulled away. He said he got a good launch and hit all his shifts perfect. He gave me mad props on my car, it was awsome. All i have done power wise is a madz28 tune, lt's with 3" ory, 24# svo's, and k&n cai with slp airfoil. And im at 109k. He said my exhaust sounded sick too, wich it really does, and its still stock catback lol. I need some 3.73's and some new tires!!

Well the next mod i do will be 3.73's and a girdle. The catback isnt holding alot of rwhp, and i dont like cutouts, i am all for simplicity and cleanliness. Besides, I dont know if you guys have heard lt's and ory through stock lt1 catback, it sounds like dying children. I loooove it. Nice and tame off the throttle, and raspy and high pitched at wot. evrybody asks what catback iv got and why i put the stock tips back on lol.

Yeah, I was killed by an LS1 with an A4 Tranny. It was from a 25mph roll and it was my understanding it was going to be a 2nd gear start. ****** started in first and I still kept the nose of my car at his passenger side door the entire time. Next race from a stop I launched on him so hard I about **** myself and almost pulled a car and half on him. The car hooked up and was gone, nothing he could do but hang out at my back bumper the entire race. I love my 4.10 rear end. I get sick of the few LS1 guys who are out there doggin on the LT1 all the time. I have met some pretty cool LS1 guys, but it seems the cool ones have owned a vehical with a LT1 at one time or another.

to be honest thats what i thought at first, but he said it was won in the launch. I launched perfect and pulled him through first, after that the low end of my lt1 was just too much for the ls1 in the botton of 2nd, so i pulled more in 2nd till about 4000 and then he just camped out behind me with no hope of making up ground. So no, there was nothing wrong with his car, i just out drove him, and with my mods i should be right there with him in rwhp, all he really had on me was gear, wich dont do you any good if you cant launch lol.
