i had the same problem.

ended up being an o2 sensor, a cracked plug, a clogged injector, and fuel filter.

yea, only one of my o2 sensors failed and it caused this. i had other problems too though, like surging and stuff caused by the fuel filter and nearly clogged shut injector, not to mention a small crack in the porcelain of one of my plugs.

my car was missing on 1, 4, and 7. no wonder it was so damn slow and unbalanced... lol i had a v5!

i'm getting o2 sensor on the other forum, so i'll check into that. are there more than one sensor i need to look for? and i did have 2 plugs that were just straight up broke.

well my car is a 97, so it has two cats and two pre cat o2 sensors, older models (not sure which models) have only one o2 that's pre cat.

Not to hijack, but Im getting the same kind of studdering esp. when warmed up, I have new plugs/wires. one yr. old msd opti. new coil, fuel filter. On my autoxray scanner, my 02's are switching and when warmed up, it goes in closed loop. could one of my 02's still be bad, but still be able to show that there switching voltage on my scanner? This is all on my 93 ta. no more egr/cats. and LT's and catback on car.

Quick Reply: misfire when warmed up (not the opti)
