oh. NO DAMAGE!
Pushrod was straight, Rocker looked perfectly fine, valve was closed all the way, and it never "threw" the pushrod...only got REALLY loose and popped off the spring a few times.
Everything looks ok, so I thinnk I am ok for now

I did, I double checked them all. They were still good to go.
I am not going to launch this thing again just yet. Gonna drive it for a bit and see what happens.
I am having a shop re-set my valve lash for me since apparently I am retarded. I dont wanna mess anything up. It will get towed to a shop to get all done up right...Then if anything breaks its not MY fault lol. They want $60 to set all my lash for me.

It cranked over nicely, no ticking, no noise, nice and clean idle, good light revs. I think its ok. It gets towed to the shop tomorrow to get the lash set right...

Don't feel bad about setting the lash, I remember the first time I did it. After rotating they were loose again so I kept tightening them, not knowing any better. It was interesting when I went to fire the car up. Sounded like someone fired a shotgun off. Waaaayyyyy too tight.

Man I had a similar problem with a rocker just not working right and not wanting to stay tight. It bent 3 pushrods before I realized I had the pivot in the center on upside-down and was tightening the nut onto the rounded side of the pivot instead of the flat side.
It's funny to find out you're stupid...maybe not at first, but later, funny.

I did that once, but I caught it right away when I noticed the nut was WAY taller than all the others and wouldnt go down all the way to get the rocker tight...From then on I double checked everything to make sure I didnt do it again...
