I haven't really dealt w/ any big stuff, but so far everything has been fairly simple to work on.

However, my header install was the biggest headache ever.

Doing plugs is all good for me though.

Lol jk CORY

P.S. The cops really did tow it, because a dump truck ran into it
HAHAHAHA ha ha.....haha......HA...............dick.

lol...Its back at my place now, the cops never towed it. It was NOT hit by a dump truck although earlier today I was wishing for it...I was so damned mad, and guess what...it turned out to be my fault it broke YET AGAIN...

I hate when Calvin is right...I'm an LT1 moron.

So I have to agree with him on this one.

Biggest LT1 nightmare...me owning and working on one. I fail.

Other than that, I HATE my CEL...always on for one thing or another...I fix one, another follows in suit...I fix that, same ****......GO AWAY! lol Thinking about doing the "black electrical tape over the CEL" mod...lmao, jk!

Headers and motor mounts...especially when you have to modify the ORY but cutting and welding the stainless. I'm no welder. Aside from that, nothing too terrible.

The older I get the more I hate working on my ****. Period.
The other day I was torquing on an 18" 1/2" drive ratchet when it came off the bolt and smacked me directly between the eyes. I am lucky my closest neighbor has worked on cars before and understands the screaming profanities that escape my garage door...

[QUOTE=Mighty Whitey;12162184]laying on your back, dropping the steering column and all the rediculous amount of connectors associated with it, just to pull the pedals out from under the dash.

not a common issue unless you swap back and forth between an auto and a stick.QUOTE]

I have to agree on this Swapping pedal assy was the hardest thing I had to do when I did my M6 to TH350 swap I couldnt believe how much trouble it was. I told myself after that this car will never be a M6 again lol

I feel bad as I scream and yell in my driveway and on a rainy FL day like today I won't get anything done.

Lets see the fel pro gaskets didn't have holes for the header, the hooker shorties don't have the extra material to cover that distant hole. Had to make my own holes, well the back bolt on cylinder 8 is now cross threaded. This is just my latest LT1 disaster.

I suppose for most time wasting error was a oil filter I put on too tight. Oh yeah I tried stabbing the screw driver through the middle, no go. Eventually it was so deformed I could crush it in half with the oil filter pliers and had to do my best Hulk impression to get it to finally break free. Will never do that again.

check your fuel pump relay under the kickpanel. burnt up a couple walbro's before I found out my relay was shot making the pumps give out prematurely until I realized there was a bad connection from the distribution block to the relay.

My random runs rich issue that won't go away. Sometimes the car runs good and strong, other times it goes pig rich. Fun fun.

biggest nightmare is that half the engine sits UNDER the ******* cowl.... lower back feels like Brock ******* Lesnar just beat my *** everytime I have to work on it.... car sits low so you have to hunch over like the hunchback of Notre Dame to get anything done under the hood. All the wrenches you have are 1mm too long to get to a bolt in ANY configuration.

I worked on a buddy's third gen and he could put a family of four under the hood with his engine installed compared to our engine compartment....

^^^^LoL.. For me the biggest problems is the differential pinion seal...it leaks fluid all over my exhaust I feel a little scared to replace the seal. 2nd would be the opti seal...why is it no auto part stores carry just the seal I have to buy a entire set of seals/gaskets....what a waste..then I try putting the seal in and end up tearing it...fawking bs I tell you!

Removing a rear end from my 1994 last winter - the car has driven year round except for winter of 06-07 and 08-09. Lots of rusted bolts and even the sawzall was bitching up a storm while I tried to cut through the bolts.

The only thing that pisses me off is that its raining everytime I want to work on it. Actually working on it isnt that bad. Never had a prob with the motor mounts, spark plugs changes are pretty easy if you just pull the starter and go from the bottom for 6,8
Hub comes off pretty easy with a puller and a smaller diameter bolt than the crank bolt hole, a backwards socket the size of the pilot bearing works pretty good. I had the engine out while i did the steam pipes.
Probably the biggest pain was aligning the twin clutch plates pilot bearing and input shaft without a tool. I gave up and finally found the tool the following day. The other pain in the *** is working without a lift under the car and realizing you forgot a tool.
