ya i used that same tool but i just hated bolting it on and off, on and off, on and off, on and off,on,off,on,off stop now rotate, back to step 1 again...it was just so time consuming for a job that didn't even feel all that big.

The fact that my y-pipe is welded on before the cat and I have to cut it off if I wanted to take the starter out, the fact that I have to remove that tight spaced y-pipe in the first place!!

Pulling my ****** 4L60E !!!!!! This is my 12th 60E and im *******
fed up with the SOB !!!! I just want this curse of bullshit problems
to end already To top it off my trans builder has my 60E at
the moment and wont fix it or send it back to me ! He has had it
since may and wont return phone calls , PMs , texts , etc. 8 years
solid of nothing but trans problems has got me pulling my ******* hair
out ! With all the money ive spent on the 60E I could have had a
383 , F1a , AFR 200CC combo by now

Mine so far was pulling a 10 point cage in and getting all the unterior back in. Ive never had to do so much cutting and trimming, trial and error in my life....

As for the very first post on the mounter mount bolt,
If you will get a socket head cap screw and grind a little from the outside edge, it will clear and works like its factory

Id say..... # one thing i hate is the leakin of oil

# 2 putting in new engine in nice clean engine bay just to spew oil all over

# 3 popping out 3rd as i let off the accelerator

My biggest problem was the motor mount clamshell. For some reason, cutting off the rivets on BOTH sides didn't seperate them. Took me 2 or 3 hours of grinding, cutting, prying, etc., to get them apart.
I spent alot of time grinding one and the other took me 10 minutes just drilled them out

12 rebuilds? Dear lord. That's why I bought an m6 car from the start. I've had it for 13 years and drive it very hard and the trans is still bone stock, never touched it. These things can take a lot of abuse in stock form. Been through a few clutches but there pretty easy to install, except some of the trans bolts are a bitch to get to. Seriously, sounds like it's time to make the swap, thats nuts.

I'd say my least favorite part of the car is trying to perform any work towards the back of the motor under the cowl, it's pretty ridiculous to try to get to the EGR valve (gone now), coolant crossover tube etc...

The ******* screw on the driver side interior panel where your left foot rests. That thing drove me crazy the other day.

My only real nightmare is when something goes wrong. fixing it isnt so hard. There usually just tedious. but Opti failure would be right next to rod knock

I would normally say the steam vent bolt on the back of the heads, but with a 15mm racheting it goes on and off like a breeze.

I would love to put a new opti on any time. But put a new in tank fuel pump in my 95 z28. Lead to the brutal beating of a neighbors garden nom.

blowing up 2 engines, 2 transmissions, 2 sets of rear gears, POS headers that would leak constantly throwing a lean code which made the car dump fuel in the drivers side bank and run excessively rich/terrible, MAP sensor going crazy over the big cam, codes thrown left and right then when you finaly work almost all the bugs out and the car runs great the third engine blows up for no ******* reason despite the fact you did everything you could to prevent it resulting in me getting so damn frustrated I practically gave the car away.

but I do miss her...
