imo the stock WS6 is the best looking hood for the LT1. i've never been a fan of those huge "i can't see out the dashboard now" hoods

I left my comments on the original thread. That's an old *** thread, all talk and they never came out w/ any of those models.

Hopefully they're serious this time.

I concur, man I really need something for my car. I will prob end up coating my headers, and wrapping them in heat wrap. My damn floor board gets so hot I cant drive my car bare foot. Even though a doubt a hood with Heat Extracting Vents would cure it. I bet it would help some

(I wear sandals a lot during the summer and kick them off to drive. So they dont get in the way of pedal operation. 6spd)

Agreed! Whenever I get my engine back together, a new hood is going on with it, and I want stock WS6 Ram-Air style, and adding heat extractors would be even better!

Yea, it does get hot. I want to pretty much draw a line parallel to the back of the headlight door cutting across to the raised portion of the hood, and then back 3/4 of the way to the end of the hood, and have all that area be one big drop vent, similar to a 08+ Viper. It will be even better when i get my twin turbo set up because the turbos will be right under the vents!
