One more question though, I didn't go with a high volume oil pump. I also didn't get the little white spring everyone talks about. Is it now not such a good idea to go to 7,000rpms?

high voume is a BAD idea with a stock oil pan, but I really would have opted to get the $3 white spring

My stock short was fine spinning to almost 7k. The valvetrain didnt last as long. Stock short is mint and in a bag now waiting untill i blow up the new one.

Man I really did not see this thread going the way it did. I thought for sure most people were going to frown on spinning there motor this high. It's awesome this many people spin it this high. I wonder what the most any body has taken a stock rotating assy up to with an aftermarket ecu?

I worry more about the rod bearings than the mains.
