This intake elbow look good for the Price?
I decided to order some under hood pieces along with some lowering springs and TTll's which i am saving up for at the moment.
Does this intake elbow look like a good deal? or would heat soak be a problem?

Thanks,
Devin

Air travels way to fast for heat soak to even be an issue. So dont even think about that. Look into the Trickflow elbow. The elbow you provided in the link looks like a vortec and im not big on the center divider. Trickflow has proven their elbow flows better than the 1le. (please dont make me dig up the thread for proof.) lol

If thats what you want to use, then use it. I have a Trickflow on my T/A in use with my k&n cai. It works to move the air, that's about it! If I had it to do over again I convert to the LS1 airlid setup. JMO though, gl w/ your choice.

I honestly doubt they are good for any power over the stocker so I don't think it's worth the cash IMO. The only reason I went with a 1LE on my old car was because the stocker had ripped so I figured for the same price what the heck.
If you can figure out a way to get the sensor on the left side of the elbow to work I would just go to home depot and buy a 90 degree rubber elbow for like $10 and it will have smooth internals unlike the stocker. Alot of GTP guys buy them from Home Depot and cut them inhalf for a custom fenderwell intake which I'm about to do actually. I made the smooth bellows on my WS6 for $6 from Home Depot using a Fernco rubber sewer pipe connector and it has a super smooth direct shot from my MAF to the TB unlike my stock bellows.
This is a pic from the GTP forums, ignore the red line and the size of it but just an example of what I mean. Find one that's 3" in diameter and to get the one end to fit over the TB just boil it and it will stretch right on. The other end will stretch right over the MAF no prob. The challenge would be to get that sensor on the left side to work but if you can figure out a way then you saved yourself alot of money.

I picked up one of these and it is great. Quality is very good, and it got here fast. The one I got from them was even coated black.

i was going to go ceramic trickflow but it says there is not a gourment or hole for the opti spark thats why I posted that link. My car's theme is black and chrome so I though CAI, Intake Elbow, other dress up items / covers and this elbow would look good. I eventually want chrome covers and a radiator support chrome cover cause I thought that would look good. Also saving for TTll's, now I heard you can get them ordered in either polished or you can pay more and get them in chrome. how much they run to get in chrome, sorry for changing the thread topic lol.
