I dont have true duals but my car is lowered 1in in the front and 1.5 in in the rear and i bottomed out my 3in y pipe coming out of a parking garage and now I have a really fail exhuast leak. So i wouldnt even chance it with true duals.

I have TD' (see sig) on mine but I am stock ride height. IMHO, at least with my setup, the LT's ground clearance is the primary concern. My TD pipes just before the axle are much higher again than the left LT header.
So if you can focus around the left side header clearance, the TD's can easily be made to work.

They're better than stock for their intended purpose, but are not the best out there.
If drag racing is your gig, I'd look to something like a QA1 or Strange shock/spring combo to give you not only the ride height your looking for, but the performance as well.

i've cut half a coil from the top of the front and rear springs, car is about 1" lower overall but i also have 28" O.D. rear tires on 15" wheels. clearance is not too bad with my TDs, here a couple of pics of my setup

I wouldn't put sportlines on any f-body because they're too soft for how much they lower the car, but that's beside the point. I'm lowered a little over an inch on strano springs and have 3" dumped duals. I only scrape on really nasty *** driveways and big speed bumps. I'd go get pics of the clearance but to be honest I'm sick and lazy right now.

I have the Strano 1.25" lowering springs on my car with 2.5" TD's and I have never scraped my exhaust except for one of my turndowns when I hit a bump in the road going too fast. The clearance is even better than when I had my 3" ORY and if I ever scrape anything it's just my air dam upfront.

You missed his point. Sportlines are TOO SOFT FOR HOW MUCH THEY LOWER THE CAR.
If you're going to lower the car more than 1.2" then you need a really stiff spring/ paired w/ the proper shocks so they won't bottom out.
Stocks are softer, but they don't lower the car, so hence why you don't bottom out.

It may have been on PM, but I didn't catch where he said he was sick.
So, this being the internet and all, it's hard to pick up on stuff like, sarcasm.
I took it as, "So you're saying, stock springs are better than Sportlines? OK(sarcastic OK) You must be sick and I hope you feel better for suggesting that"
catch my drift. It's all good.
