yeah thats what i liked. i wanted a nice sounding muffler that wasn't super loud. my stocker muffler lasted 15 years and really wasn't in terrible shape. it's nice to have a rust free car, lol.

looks like the same one i had before i got my catback. It will get louder once you put some more miles on it.

cool

a few of the guys at nifba said i should just get a catback but i didn't like the large single tips on the magnaflow. i'm happy with the results.

+1 Magnaflows get louder with age, but don't lose their tone.

Put headers and an off-road Y-pipe on it...You'll sing a different tune! (Mine is almost uncomfortably loud)

I don't want it loud though. That is why i went with the magnaflow. i wanted a nice tone that didn't have that loud raspy sound like a flowmaster. how do you run a catalytic converter with an offroad Y pipe? in my county i still have to run the roller emissions and a mirror under the car check.

usually you would run two, but since you are OBD1 i would put one a little after the merge of the Y pipe

My magnaflow with PS Longtubes and ory is not very loud at all, but then again i did have it straight piped w/ a 12inch resonator prior to putting a muffler on it. In my opinion it sounds perfect now. Here is a video of it when it was straight piped: With the muffler on it it is no where near as loud as it was.

They don't get that loud. Have plenty of miles on mine and it is still relatively quiet. Nice mufflers though...

+1 I had the Magnaflow muffler on with stock headers with dual cats. I was not happy, it was hardly and louder that the stock system. I put a set of LT's on with a catless Y-pipe and now it sounds the way an LT1 should. If you drive it normal it's not loud but when you let it rip it sounds beautiful.

different strokes for different folks i guess. i went with the magnaflow so it would be fairly quiet. i wanted something with a little more tone than stock but still pretty tame. i don't want to be setting off car alarms or be getting pulled over constantly. i never was a fan of obnoxiously loud cars.

no your right. Well I noticed with the two that i personally have purchased that they did go up a few decibles after some driving. Its still quiet, but it definitaly got slightly louder then when i first put it on.

LT headers, y pipe, magnaflow muffler only. i think about 2yrs ago
