Found a set of semi-used NGK TR55GPs that came in my car when I bought them, they look fairly new. Anyways, being a newbie to LT1s at the time and wanting to tune the car up, I put E3 plugs in. Anyways, should I stick with the E3's or will I notice any power difference going to the NGK plugs.

Don't bother with ANY gimick plug.
Most of us use cheap $2 or less apiece plugs. Beyond that platinum or iridium can reduce gap errosion lengthening plug life but NOT making power. Multiple or goofy shapped electrodes do NOT make any more power.
OEMs go to great lengths to save fractions of a mpg, if multiple or goofy shaped electrodes were good for anything OEMs would be all over it. What they use though is a single stanfdard electrode with platinum or iridium to make them last a LONG time before a tuneup is needed.

the ngk is a single tip, i should just put those back in and call it a day? or should i just go get some ac delco's?
I see alot run the tr55s. Mine say tr55gp, not sure what the GP means or if its the same plug?
The reason I ask is I just read an old car craft article where they were discussing different plugs, they said the e3's were made more for daily drivers instead of performance, if I can get even a little more horsepower just by switching plugs, Im for it, especially since I can do a plug change in less than half an hour.

Just have to think a strong spark is good but all it does is ignite the fuel to create an explosion . If you have a turbo application or supercharger it would be a diff story but n/a combo does not need anything special . Especially with our stout coil packs
