They were brand new studs in my brand ne currie 9". And I chose to drive the car to the track to break in the gear, so i was pretty much effed. $300 towing bill

ouch..... partly the reason Ive been towing my car to the track. M6s are hard on driveline parts and it costs way less than a tow home.

I was going to tow it but drove it instead to be able to break in the new 9" I just put in that morning. Good thing the 10 bolt wasnt in there at the time! I dont think it would have liked that too much...

holy ****!! that had to be a scary experience...good thing you didn't hit the wall that just would have added insult to injury. So what do you have to do now to fix it?

we were all standing by the guardrail and ur car was shootin lug nuts and stud shards at us....Thanks alot Ryan lol And then you proceeded to go down the track untill your wheel fell off lol

All I have to do is put new studs in it. I have the longer ARP ones now... Can someone post a link to a what lug nuts I will need with these?

hah prbly, it is a looong way, but its safe. Pontiac is a good spot, eff that place where we did it last time! we both almost got caught...

Even with my miserable launching on dr's at Milan, i still think I better'd his best 60' plus a dif is much more fun.

OP, do you have any suspension work done, lcas & relocation brackets, sfcs aftermarket torque arm anything to combat wheelhop?

were those stock wheel studs or aftermarket? sorry i didn't have any spare studs for you to have!

I only have tubular lower control arms, everyhing else is stock. I will be working on my suspension this winter. i KNOW that stock torque arm is killing me.

They were the stockers. I just got the car done today with some ARP studs so hopefully it doesnt happen again. But as you definately know, M6 cars love to eat up drivetrain parts. Would never have been a big deal if i trailered the car that night

i thought that is what you said, consider it a cheap lesson learned! you got a bellhousing on that thing? spend the money, your feet are worth it! mcleaod came out with them after what happened to me.
