Default need timing cover

still no luck on getting my timing cover. the gm part number doesn't work anymore. Ive called and gave them the number and all gm dealers tell me they stoped making them and no place has it. Does anyone have one(extra) for sale?? or kno any oother place i can find one.

What year is your motor? There were 3 different timing cover designs used.

12551636 - 93-94.
12552426 - 95.
12552427 - 96-97.

You should be able to find them easily here on the forums. Also, GMPD lists the 93-94 and the 96-97 covers as being in stock.

If this is same guy over on CZ28 then he is looking for a 95'. BTW-I posted today on your wanted thread over there that the 97' (as stated above) is not the same cover so if you have a 95' don't waste your money on it. Good luck.

i did look on ebay the other day but couldnt find the 96/97 one, just the bolts.lol

I think i'll jus buy from the gm link on here. Only place that seems to have it but its 77 bucks! oh well i need it.

I have one I can sell! It is plugged for an electric water pump, but I can probably remove the plug. PM me if you're interested.
