94 LT1 into a 97. what all needs to be swapped? so i was going to post up my firebird for sale for dirt cheap (3g's) because i have too much going on and dont need 2 fbody's. But my buddy had the genius idea of wanting to just buy my motor for $2500 and giving me his stock motor along with the cash. The question im having is what all do i need to swap over between the 2 motors? i kind of have a general idea but its always nice to double check. so lets here some input guys!

You will need to use the 97 timing cover,opti and harness, cam, crank sensor swap a few fittings over in the intake to allow the vented opti and thats it.
