Ion (madtuner) without a doubt. I feel better tunes and WAY better customer service. JMO

You can send in your PCM and wait for it to be tuned and sent back, or you can buy a OBD cable and load the tunes via email. www.aldlcable.com

Ion for the gold. Stay away from PCMFORLESS. I've had two crap tunes done by them.

Iv'e been using Ion for about 6 yrs. now. He's local to me and has always been very helpful. Can't speak of the other tuners out there, never had a reason to try them.

Been using PCMforless.com for 8 years with multiple tunes, and each one has been perfect. Bryan also dyno-tuned my car and was very proficient. My vote is PCMforless.

Getting back to your last sentence, you can also just order a pcm (extra $) and then get a refund when you send your old one back to him.

Dyno tune is the best for your money! It always right, leaving it to chance is up to you.

After meeting with and having Bryan at PCMforless dyno tune my car I have no reason to ever have anybody else tune the car. He is very proficient with the LTx's and did an excellent job improving upon a dyno tune I had done by a well known local guy. His mailorder for my heads/cam car was dead nuts on, all I needed was a slight timing adjustment that we saw when we put it on the dyno. My dad is also a loyal customer of PCMforless along with one of my best friends who also owns an LT1.

I once had a mailorder tune from MadTuner and it was garbage. However one out say every hundred is going to have a bad experience here and there. With that said you honestly cannot go wrong with either because if you look around there are alot of happy customers from both. Both tuners know the LT1's well. PCMforless has been very good to me so they get my vote in the end.

Want to get a little more into detail with this? Im gunna need a tune within a year..and no body here in canada is good with lt1's it seems but car is my DD, so this seems like a great idea. What would be required to do this?

Well, as I stated, buy the cable, have Ion email you the tune (he will also send you a program to load it and detailed instructions) and you're done.

94-95 you need the OBD-I cable, 96-97 you need OBD-II.

Just do a little research and you'll figure it out. All the info you need to do this is on these two sites:
www.aldlcable.com
www.madtuner.com

Not sure what part of Canada you are in but i am certain that if you PM Taner he can help you get tuned, he has an awesome group!

Madz28 tuned here, happy with the service. I've heard good and bad about both though.
