Thanks everyone.

I think I'm going to take a week vacation next week and finish this bitch up. I want to drive it already.

It's my daily, so it gets it in all weather. :tear drops down my cheek:

So I finally got some free time and I want to screw on the adapter for my autometer coolant temp gauge on the passenger side head.

The adapter won't screw on all the way. It's pretty tight here, so I've decided to stop screwing before I crack the head.

From others' experiences is it supposed to go in all the way?

edit: woops! I forgot to post the picture

2/3/10

Got some nice **** done finally.

Had a 3 day hiccup because of my dad's fancy shmancy Snap On digital torque wrench not working in anything below 55 degree temps.

Finally figured out how to warm up the garage enough and were able to use the torque angle feature on it, that was Sunday when we finally finished torquing.

Put on the intake manifold that same day. I worked on it today, and did the rocker adjustment, valve cover put on, switched the O-rings on the injectors, and installed them on the fuel rail.

I touched the injectors up w/ Mother's polish.

I did switch the wing nuts, for regular locking nuts.

Put injectors and fuel rail on

Tomorrow I will run my fuel lines, and hopefully extend all of the wire that I'll reroute from my wiring harness.

Coming along beautifully. You and I have similar tastes in design because my I almost did the exact same color scheme with my engine. Except instead of Trans Am on my Valve Covers I put Comp T/A. Im thinking Trans Am looks better. Good work man I give it a 10 so far.

Car is in storage at the shop for the winter. I will try to get some pictures taken tomorrow if I have time. I actually have the intake mani off right now. Because after seeing your post a few pages back with the relocated lines to the rear of the intake mani. I decided that's my next mod

EDIT: Interior of my Comp T/A just has silver accents but when I had my 99 GSX Eclipse the entire color scheme both interior and engine was red and black. It turned out awesome, I just wish I had pics of that car. I miss having AWD sometimes

I know what you're talking about.

My brother is a DSM guy, he has a 97 Talon TSi AWD.

I want an EVO too.

Not trying to Hijack your thread. But here's a pic of my 1991 Laser NASA SU Car. Its only front wheel drive. 435whp/396FTQ Thats not exact, I last had it dynoed a year ago and can find my dang dyno sheet. But thats right around what shes putting down.

Im a car guy, If a car is built right it shouldn't matter what kind of car it is. And technically DSM's are Domestic cars,,lol
