Default 93 owners with O2 conversion come inside!!

Well i just finished up making my heated O2 conversions wiring harness. I was curious, for those of you that have done this conversion, if you actually noticed a difference. Now I am not expecting a difference felt but a difference in the air/fuel ratio. is it actually worth the money spent on doing this conversion? Thanks

You'll see the sensors warming up and it will help with cold starts a bunch.

It'll also let the PCM see your A/F better when you put LT's on......Pretty much the only reason I'm putting it on my 93

I have it done on mine. If you have LT they are worth it. I noticed a big difference in 1st gear crusing thru parking lots the car would jerk back and forth bouncing from open loop to closed loop. Once I did the conversion the ride was really smooth.

Havn't bin able to test it much lately, I think opti or one of my sensors are bad causing the car to run like crap and trany dosn't have 3 or 4 gear lol. Before the trany broke I beat a 2000 4.6 mustang spraying 125 shot on motor. I can't wait for my taxes I'm gonna get my heads ported and trany built.

When datalogging with bolt-ons and LTs my 93 took ages to get into closed loop. When it finally did, the o2s were all over the place. The car ran very rich.

The heated o2 conversion fixed that, and allowed me to get a proper drivability tune.

Not worth any peak power since they are not used at WOT, but well worth it for the drivability.

Man it seems like I'm in the market for some new O2 sensors again and better check my wire roughting. Turns out that it wasn't the opti or map sensor it was the o2's that were making my car run like crap. It felt as if it had no power at all and would chock itself out and cut off. Unhooked them and works fine. Crazy.,.

well i used GM parts:
GM 4 Wire Oxygen Sensors, Part Number 25312184
GM 4 Wire O2 Harness, Part Number 12102741
and the pigtail off of the old single wire O2 sensor
So i should be good on this. I used a very good write-up to do this with: http://www.fastbird93.com/Installati...Conversion.htm and i also unpinned the unused wire. Everything is soldered and shrink wrapped so i do not think i will have a problem there.
But if I do infact have any questions i will be sure to send you a PM.

Hopefully you get everything figured out. I hope to get mine running again soon. It still has not been back on the road since the cap and rotor went out. Then again i decided to do a cam swap and replace all the old beat up valve train.
