since its carbed with no opti, do i need this thing?

It is the CKP reluctor wheel. If you are using an LT1 crank hub, you need it to keep the spacing correct for accessory drive.

...or delete it and use a slightly longer 93-95 hub. I suppose it depends on what timing cover you are running.

its a 96 LT1, no opti, and im putting in a cloyes double roller.

You're going to need the longer 93-95 crank hub in order to keep the accessories in line.

Some people have reported using the shorter hub without the CKP wheel with no problems though. The pulley will be about .1" out of line.

well i have the longer hub balancer, so i think ill be fine.

You are also going to need to shave the crank key down or swap it with a non-crank sensor key. If you don't, the longer hub will bump up against it and not seat all the way to the crank gear.

turns out i cant use it anyway, with the double roller installed the reluctor wheel wont fit on the snout, an timing cover wont go on so yea lol.
