Default Roller Rockers

Been looking at buying a set of roller rockers for awhile and I got a question about a certain brand.
Are ARP pro roller rockers any good, also what size are the stock rockers on the lt1s? I just cant seem to remember.

I know that the stock rockers have a 1.5 ratio so if your going to upgrade make sure you get some 1.6's. Not sure about the ARP ones tho but you will also need valvesprings if you do the rockers as they will produce more lift outta your cam.

So will the 7/16 go right in or would there be some modification to the heads in order to make them work?

No modifications needed. Remove the old studs, install the new ones.

the new studs screw in, you dont need to upgrade valvesprings to run 1.6s, id go comp pro mags theyll last for ever.

You NEED to upgrade valvesprings when switching to 1.6 rockers. The stock springs will be dangerously close to coil bind. Not worth the risk.

Planning on getting a good set of springs. Possible a set from patriot. But right now I'm looking for a good set of push rods. Any suggestions?

Trickflows are the only way to go IMO. You can pay a lot more for another brand, but the TF's work great and are reasonable. Around 80 bucks IIRC

what are the stock springs good for when it comes to max lift..also most dont factor in valve lash..if i got a cam that gives me .480 lift with a 1.5 rocker..dont mean im running that.its more around .455 once lash gets factored in..

How much Valve Lash are you running? Judging by what you say if you think about it your Rockers have no preload, and are loose.

Besides..Lift is Lift, with the proper Preload there is no lash that will take away .02-.03 of an inch.

Unless I'm reading what you said wrong it makes no sense to me..

That's a risky thing to do, I spent hours looking into springs when I was thinking about making the jump to 1.6's with my factory cam, and everything I ever read said to upgrade atleast LT4 springs.
