i love threads like this where all GM owners are PRAISING new fords, and basically saying ford>gm, arent you supposed to support your favorite brand? im not hating on the fords because i think they are nice but that 5.0 must have a crappy powerband with no torque under 4000. the LS3 is IMO a far superior motor that can make tons of power everywhere in the curve with nothing but a tune and good exhaust.

I just wish GM would just make a Camaro to compete with all Mustangs. I'm getting sick of people throwing in the Cobra/GT 500 etc. when people are comparing the GT to SS/Z28.

When the Z06 came out Ford introduced the Termi to compete with it..that's pretty well known.
Then he says this..
Speed_demon..no offense but please pull your head up out of Ford's lap and pay attention to the current conversation that you are involved in.
Now..back to it..
I agree..if the Camaro came from the Factory with a Twin Screw them Cobra boys would be lookin at it a little different.
Or you can get ahold of a CTSV with the de-tuned LS9 and tune it up..it weighs about the same as the Stang..

The more wieght you try to launch, the more parts your going to break, I think this is costing some sales. Gm should of learned this after the GTO.
