Nope it comes out fairly easily, just start unplugging everything and setting it on top of the motor and before you know it the whole thing is off the car.

yeah, it's not too hard and can be done w/ the engine in the car. The hardest part is unhooking it from behind the IM where it connects to evap and some bracket back there and unhooking it from the tranny and gettting it to come up w/o it latching on to something.

The hardest part is removing the retaining clips on top of the transmission housing (VSS) and removing the interior parts (vacuum for the HVAC, few other wires) that pass through the large grommet on the firewall). To make it a bit easier, you might want to drop the transmission slightly to gain access to the top of the trans.

They all pass through the large grommet behind the PCM entering the passenger foot-well.

It's not too bad to do man..it comes out realy quick. Prob the biggest pain in the *** is the part where it comes through the Fire Wall.

You stripping it down and going through it too?

If you strip it down take the time to move some things around..like that one single PCM Ground near the Knock Sensor..integrate it with the Grounds in the Harness..it really cleans it up.

I did that with my LS Swap Harness..made a ton of difference for looks and convience.

Ya it gets real easy when you clean everything up and get in there and see how much extra crap there is. When I stripped out mine there was enough wire to build another Harness, easily..lol
