man... i ran into a funny (or not) situation where my engine was balanced with the stock flywheel, which utlizes the weight... well i BOUGHT the neutral street twin.. had to r&r the tranny and clutch and get a blob of weight welded onto the flywheel to stop the vibration. so make sure A) your engine shop listens to you when you tell them how to balance your ****, and B) yea. make sure.

lol i had a used aluminum flywheel street twin for sale for almost a year now. everybody thought it should be free so to the scrap yard it goes. i was asking 300 i think and a rebuild from them is about 300, if i remember correctly. so a 1,300 for 600. and people thought it was too high. freaking crazy.

I ordered mine from Bryan/Larry at Speed Inc, the customer service is unreal. I wouldn't order it from any where else, trust me, they will take care of you. Mcleod messed up with shipping, I couldn't get any where dealing with them. I called Speed Inc in the morning who I originally ordered the clutch through and Bryan went to work fixing every thing right away and took care of all of it. These guys went above and beyond.

I hope you didn't throw it away. I have a street twin but someone would be crazy not to pick yours up and send it to mcleod for a rebuild. Maybe post some pics up?

I was thinking it might be on BO, I'll have to give them a call. The only reason I bought it from thunder racing was bcz it was $100 cheaper than anyone else. Lest just say this is the last time.

I installed mine and it was PITA. I would have paid somebody who has done it before if I had it over again. If i remember I had to buy a different slave cylinder to get it to work properly. In my opinion , If you are not making over 650rwhp it is overkill and many clutch guys will tell you the same but if ou are anything like me might as well get it done right the 1st time.

The install isn't really any different from any other clutch install with the exception of tightening a few more bolts. It becomes a pain when you're trying to line up and install the trans however.

One trick that I've heard is when you have the trans most of the way in, slip the t/o bearing fork on and bolt up the slave cylinder and get in the car and push the clutch in. It will disengage the clutch and allow everything to line up and go in smoothly.

Just wish I knew about this when I did my install

I thought my install was pretty simple, & salve/MC/flywheel came with mine. Lining up the disks was the only PITA, but not that bad.
